We really believe that every child matters. Doing the best for our children and young people will be one of our priorities if elected.

The Covid crisis has had a profound imapct on young people, and we must support them through the aftermath, so Labour pledge the following:

•  More emotional and wellbeing support to help support the mental health of young people
• Extra funding within schools to provide catch-up programmes
• Expand the number of children’s centres across the county

We also want to support the most vulnerable young people in Lincolnshire, so Labour will:

• Work with the voluntary agencies to extend fostering and adoption services, and to support care leavers
• Improve services for children with special educational needs
• Support children who have caring responsibilities
• Lobby the government for funding to provide free school meals in school holidays
